Yesterday’s progress! That red espresso machine needed paint on both sides of almost every piece—way more prep than other sections. It was also loose enough that I used my first glue of the whole build to secure it.
But I’m really impressed with how this kit handles acrylic! The round side window is clamped between two wood pieces held with screws—no glue or tape needed. The fresh coffee self-checkout window uses slots and is sandwiched with small wooden holders. Such smart design
Getting comfortable enough now that I’m prepping and painting edges for a full page of pieces at once instead of tackling one section at a time.
Took a break to build Cookii Bunny’s Cookie Shop, but back at the Dream Coffee Factory today—let’s see how far I get!
Nice progress! Painting always takes a while. It must’ve blended in naturally because I couldn’t really tell what’s been painted by you, in a good way.
Yes. There are definitely trade offs with markers. I had a lot of difficulty not painting over the edge when I tried to use paintbrushes. Markers almost completely eliminated that issue for me. But some areas are difficult to reach with markers.
