After testing the lights, it was time to start assembling the structure. So far, everything fits together really smoothly and it hasn’t been complicated at all. I have to say, placing one of the switches on the first step is such a clever and thoughtful idea.
I’ve also assembled the water wheel, which moves perfectly without affecting the clock at all, and started putting up the walls. The details are just lovely: the back door that opens and closes, the cute little windows on the front door, and the big arched main door that stays open so you’ll later be able to see the pendulum. Everything is so carefully designed that I’m completely in love.
I’ve also started routing the light cables, fitting them into their designated spots and positioning the lights so they point downward, illuminate exactly where needed, and stay in place. Honestly, this kit is feeling fantastic so far.
Reading your post is like I’m actually building the clock with you. What you felt is actually what I also felt when I was building the Dream Gift Factory - every single step is well thought out and steps are so easy to follow.
It’s just that I’m building it with so much enthusiasm because it’s a gift for my grandma, but… I’m liking it so much and it’s so beautiful that I’m starting to want to keep it for myself
