Yesss, I had thought about it, but it just wouldn’t be the same. I know myself too well :joy:

It’s just absolutely amazing from start to finish!! It has me completely captivated, honestly. These days I can stay at home and could spend more time building, but I’m not feeling great and can’t be at it for as long as I’d like, which is really frustrating… :smiling_face_with_tear:

You should definitely branch out. I am a HUGE fan of ROKR. @JDisaduck

Don’t think so, honestly! I thought it was going to be much harder than it actually was. I ended up with a super enjoyable and satisfying kit to build. If it catches your eye, don’t hesitate to go for it, it’s totally worth it!!

Ohhh it looks hard for me. Maybe if I will experience building that too, maybe my perception will change. Happy building to you. :pink_heart: I will try to save money first so I can buy it.

Yeees, same here! I also feel like it seems easier because I’ve been building kits for years now, so I’m quite used to more difficult and elaborate ones. Everyone knows their own level and should keep that in mind when choosing a kit, although it can also be a nice personal challenge to take it slowly and calmly. In the end, if you run into any issues, you can always ask for help here in the community

Thank you so much for the encouragement words. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: For me, I’m a beginner in doing miniatures but I will try to do easier ones first before I jump to more complicated ones as a warm up. I have unfinished miniatures due to life circumstances but I will try my best to get back at doing crafts again this year.

You’re very welcome. That sounds like a perfect plan. Starting with easier kits is a great way to ease back in and rebuild the joy without pressure. Life happens, and unfinished projects will always wait for us patiently. I’m sure 2026 will bring you many cozy crafting moments again, and we’ll be right here cheering you on every step of the way

Thank you so much for the kind words. I appreciate it, really. You know not many people that I know in real life doesn’t appreciate my works and arts. Usually people that I met online are the ones they do so I’m grateful for meeting them like you.

It’s very easy for that to happen and to end up finding people online who share it and truly appreciate it. That’s why communities like this one are so important :face_holding_back_tears:

Yes, that’s why I have more friends online than in real life. The amazing part is some of them, I’ve already met in personal and the vibes are already there even in first meet. :sparkling_heart: I appreciate the community too because of that. :pink_heart: Very positive place to share arts and ideas.

That’s so true. It’s amazing how real and genuine those connections can feel, even before meeting in person. When the vibes are already there from the start, you know it’s something special. I’m really glad this community gives us such a positive, safe space to share, connect, and just be ourselves through creativity

I agree with you. It’s also rare to find someone and right audience to share the same interest as you like this community. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I’ve found some of my best friends online by sharing hobbies. We’ve been able to meet in person and it’s been fantastic. One of my best friendships is over 10 years old now

That’s amazing! :open_mouth: It reminds me of my closed friend. We’ve also met online and we both love anime. We’ve met first in anime convention and our friendship now is I think 15 yrs. We don’t talk a lot now since we’re both busy but once we’ve talked, it’s like nothing has been changed.

Is the same hobbies with your friends is doing miniature?

That’s so cool!!!
In my case, it was because I had a literature blog for many years and met a lot of people with the same tastes through it. Others came from playing online video games. So far I haven’t met anyone in person through building miniatures, it’s only now that I’m more involved in the community
