@Alicesharpe I completely understand. Timing is everything. Maybe some day you’ll be able to when life slows a bit. :pink_heart:

When I joined my first meet up, I mostly ordered drinks haha. I wasn’t able to finish my snack so yes, I agree with you about that part. Even when I’m at home crafting, I’d rather have something to sip every now and then loke coffee or tea than have a heavy snack. Light snacks are preferable. :100: Just wondering tho, do you not include glue to the pack? I know most kits really do not need glue as the parts fit and click perfectly haha. Maybe I’m just being too picky tho because I hate losing parts so I glue the tiny parts. :joy:

@khimmymade I do have two kinds of glue that I bring along to meetups. I don’t put them in the tool pouches because not many people use it. I offer the glue to everyone and only give it to those that want it. That helps keep costs down by not giving it out to everyone that would just take it home if they won’t use it.

This is such a helpful post, Tina. I completely agree with yo, just taking that first step is the most important part.

As a fellow ambassador, I can relate so much to what you’re saying. Seeing people come together, build, chat, and enjoy the moment is honestly the best part of it all :face_holding_back_tears: I had my first meetup recently and this Sunday I’ll be hosting my second one… still a bit nervous, but also very excited!

Thank you for sharing your setup and tips, it will definitely help many people feel more confident about getting started :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I love the pouch I might look into getting one. That way I can make sure I get everything back after each meetup.

Tina you are perfect like always! I’m really glad I can learn from you about organizing meetings. I need to focus on mine, but I’m still having trouble keeping people interested. I’m also a little worried that I won’t be able to cope, that people won’t have a good time. I know these are worries based on my head and fear, rather than facts. But your posts give me courage. Thank you.

Thank you @JDisaduck ! I have used them twice now and they have come in very handy. I just have to mention to them that everything in the pouches stays with me and what comes in their kits can go home. Otherwise it would all disappear. Lol
