Another successful meetup is in the books! Today was my meetup at the North Webster Library in North Webster, Indiana. A great time was had by all 15 attendees. The best part was that the ages ranged from 12 to 80’s ish! I love having a large group with a wide range of ages!
Once everyone arrived, I briefly covered information and some details about Robotme . Then I let the people that needed the higher difficulty kits choose their kits. After they chose, the beginners couldn’t wait to pick their builds.
Everyone chatted as they built, munched on snacks and drank water or coffee.
I spent most of my time helping a couple of ladies that were new to this hobby. It was fun to see them gradually do better by the end of our time together.
One thing I learned is that 2 hours just isn’t enough time together. General consensus is that my next meetup needs to be 3 hours long, so that’s what I will plan for June.
A highlight of the meetup was getting to meet a possible future Brand Ambassador, @Kim_Kieffer! She drove 2 1/2 hours to participate in the meetup and also to observe the process of hosting a meetup. She’s the first person I have met from this forum and it was so fun!
Oh, I almost forgot something else I learned! One person built the Eiffel Tower Plus, and let me tell you…it’s huge!
One more thing…I heard a lot of talk that several of the attendees were looking forward to buying a kit to work on when they finish what they built today. And a few of them had already bought and built kits after attending my meetup back in December. So awesome…the addiction is spreading!
Thank you @Robotime for allowing me the blessing of being a Brand Ambassador. I’m so proud to be a part of this program and this hobby!
I have another meetup next Thursday, so until then…![]()

What a fantastic turnout on a Thursday afternoon! I was honestly surprised to see so many people show up in the middle of the workday—and what I loved most was watching everyone, no matter their skill level, just enjoying themselves while they built. Even the folks who were working through some tricky bits were having such a good time. That energy is what makes this community special. Thank you so much to ROBOTIME for sponsoring these meetups and making experiences like this possible. Thanks to you too @Tkaplan for hosting and creating space for everyone to just be part of something fun! ![]()
Congratulations to the successful event. ![]()

It is so inspiring to see a group ranging from age 12 to 80+ all enjoying the same hobby. It really proves that crafting has no age limit. It looks like everyone had such a blast, and I love that the community is growing so naturally. Congratulations on the successful event! ![]()
