As I said, I am taking my time with this. I want to enjoy every moment. I noticed there is 46+ books for this, not the most I have had to do! They are the foam books. I almost like the wood better, more sturdy, but these are ok.
I tried to get some close ups of some details.

Your build is looking great! I understand what you mean by wood one’s being more sturdy, but I really love the look of the white foam sides on the books. I think they just look more like they’re really books to me.

This is one of my favourite builds. I was just showing my son mine before and he was impressed that it was full of books.
Perhaps they are made of foam so they are easier to place and weigh less?
Taking your time with this one really feels right. It’s looking so lovely already, and I really enjoyed seeing the close-up details. Also, 46+ books… is such a Jeanne kind of challenge omg

and they were light enough that they stayed where I put them. The stacking was shakey but it all went together.

In actuality they do not stack as easy or as well as there is no weight behind them. They placed better singly than expected though.
Right up there with making boxes! In this there are 2 baskets and a box. YES!
