I tried to take this one a bit slow. I want to appreciate all the little details. Not much furniture in this one, mostly wall things. Here are a few pics of progress.
I took a picture of the wall because I wanted you to be able to see the “stained glass”
These next two show the firelace. You can see on the first one where a light comes through to mimic a fire in there! Can’t wait to see how this looks when lit!
And finally the wall with everything set on that wall. The only problem with the nooks is you can see all the fun little minis while building, but once together some get hidden! Most appreciation comes through while building! Either way This one is fun!
Looks nice and cozy! Can’t wait to see how the chimney looks like when lighted as well. I’m really into this Nook so I’ll be looking forward for your updates.
This is going to be really cute. Yes I agree that so may details are hidden after completion so I try to appreciate them while building as well. I like the nooks that least have a window or two for this reason.
I do think it’s a shame that a lot gets hidden in the nooks. However, I saw on one of my FB groups where someone set Sea Breeze into a picture box and spread it out across the frame. I loved that idea and I plan on following suit.
This build is looking amazing. The stained glass windows are cute but I wish they were more vibrant.
I had to go back to see what hammer! I just got that. After Titanic my fingers were killin! I still use the little wood tool but that works for some areas too!
Yeah, they are very soft shades of purple.
I like when there is a mirror in back as that helps to reflect. I would love to see that fb post! which book nook? do you remember?
Thanks! @Suzanne_Jones
I’ll have to find the group it was on but the kit was a non-Rolife one called Sea Breeze. I’ll send the link to you when I find it.
First, I really should go and do my housework lol
I absolutely love the “stained glass”. It would be awesome if Robotime would make a beautiful cathedral with stained glass windows and painted ceilings.
I can’t find which group I saw it in but they had put the buildings along the back of a shadow box frame and it looked brilliant.
Apparently Sea Breeze is the book nook equivalent to Dora’s Loft iykwim.
