One of my favorite parts was adding the snow using modeling clay. I might have gone a little overboard but I really wanted to capture that cozy winter atmosphere. I love that you can place the snow wherever you want, making every build feel unique. Honestly, I think it looks surprisingly realistic!
The warm lantern lighting brings the entire scene to life and makes it feel like you’re wandering through a quiet snowy street at night. The glowing lanterns reflecting on the water and the snow-covered cherry blossoms make the whole scene feel so peaceful and cozy. Every time I looked closer, I noticed another tiny detail hiding somewhere in the village
And can we talk about the tiny Shiba Inu sitting by the bridge? It’s one of my favorite little details in the entire scene!
This was the perfect relaxing build to start the weekend, and I loved getting lost in all the tiny details while creating my own little snowy world. Between the glowing lanterns, snowy rooftops, cherry blossoms, and hidden details around every corner, Kyoto Snow Whisper feels like stepping into a peaceful winter dream
Would you rather visit this village during a snowy winter night or in full cherry blossom season?
Thank you so much!! It honestly wasn’t bad at all, the clay was super easy to work with and super flexible. Now it’s almost all hardened and looks even better. And I went a little crazy haha of course you don’t have to put that much but I wanted to use all of it
Highly recommend it after completing it! I had so much fun between creating the snow and admiring all the details. I absolutely loved it. Thank you so much.
