Here we are! This treehouse is so cute and was so much fun to make! The tree itself is made of plastic so I ended up adding some moss all over the tree to try and make it look more natural. I would’ve loved an actual wooden tree but I think it’ll be hard for them to get the shape right.
I took these photos outside because I wanted the natural light to cast some shadows and I think it turned out really magical. Although I did have to battle my hayfever for the shots.
Now I really wish I was small enough to live here.
Overall, this is a really fun and easy kit to make and I enjoyed every second of it. I do wish it lasted a bit longer but I think most of the recent designs are like that. If you’re a fan of the Studio Ghibli movie Arrietty I would definitely recommend getting this to satisfy your inner borrower.
! This turned out SO cute! Awesome job! I love all the little details, and all your photos in the different lighting! I hope you start Flowery Sweets and Teas next! Also, I love Arrietty!
So beautiful it really feels like you’re in Arriety’s world I love that you added moss on the trunk itself, it made it more realistic. Good job on the tree house @JDisaduck
Haha! Well I do have it sitting in my backlog! I definitely wouldn’t be able to bring my miniatures outside right now, I don’t think it’s stopped snowing in like a month!
That’s crazy lol I’ve never really had to deal with constant snow. Any time I encounter snow it’s usually when I’m on a holiday so it ends up being fun.
Having said that I think the treehouse would look really pretty in snow but it might get wet after.
This is absolutely cuuuuuute!!
The moss was such a brilliant idea, it looks so natural, and the outdoor photos bring the whole scene to life. I love how cozy and dreamy it feels. Truly adorable!
