DIY & Crafting Club Meetup 04 in the Philippines
August 29, 2026 at Moshi Gran Café, Level 5, One Ayala, Makati Philippines
It was a raining afternoon when the meetup event happened. It was my 3rd DIY & Crafting Meetup already in the Philippines that I’d organized and I still couldn’t believe it. Time flew so fast. At first, I was worried that the participants would cancel their slots on the same day of the event since the weather was still bad. There was only one person who didn’t made it to the event but fortunately, there was another person who took her slot on the same day of the event who was a companion from the participant. I really appreciate my participants who still attended the said event despite of bad weather.
There were 20 attendees in total which were a mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced crafters. The room was filled of happy chit-chats and some met new friends on the meetup event. I was also grateful to the staffs of the café shop for being friendly, accommodating and understandable.
The participants even the first timer were eager to start their chosen DIY kits.
There were four kits that the attendees could choose from. There were 5 pieces available each kit.
- Rolife Sunshine Town Book Nook Kit TGB02
- Rolife Secret Bloomy Nook DIY Book Nook TGE04
- Rolife Cookii Bunny’s Cookie Shop DIY Miniature House DG177
- Rolife Honey Tea Lounge DIY Miniature House DWS02B
The official meetup event posters were displayed on the café shop. There were Nanci plushies, figurines, miniature houses and mechanical kit displayed on the venue. There were 13 Suri Mystery Castle figurines that were giving away for those participants who would successfully post a feedback about the meetup event on social media platform or here in the community in first to post basis.
Through sharing the same hobby, with or without experience, there was a connection formed and the participants had a lot of fun during the event. Most of them were enthusiastic and excited to attend another meetup event again in the future.
Some participants were able to finish their build particularly those who chose the Honey Tea Lounge DIY Miniature House. Some weren’t able to finish their chosen kits and decide to continue their kits when they got home.
I was very happy that we, @Jill_Francisco and @Anje_Leonoza_Mira, already met together and got a chance to have a picture together. Thanks sisters! ![]()
From the bottom of my heart, I would like to sincerely thank @Robotime for giving me an opportunity to organize a DIY & Crafting Meetup event in my local community. Thank you so much for your generosity as always and sponsoring events like this. I’ve met a lot of new friends along the journey.
Thank you so much again for my participants who still attended the meetup event despite of bad weather and raining non-stop. I appreciate you all for being supportive to me.
My heart is grateful until now. ![]()
