Okay I realized the wax this kit came with is basically a candle wax LOL
So I thought of doing this instead…
melted wax with cotton swab
and it works really well! yay!
I am using a pine scented candle and my kit will smell like the Holidays too!
Another thing I like to do is grab all the pieces I need for the page and highlight it in pink so I know that all the parts I need is easy to grab.

Oh this is so smart! I love candles and I have so many of them at my crafting desk so I’ll remember this tip! 
@Tricia12 I ended up using my hair dryer to set the wax on the wood and it made it tun smoothly and kept the wax imbedded, fun and tough build

It will make it feel extra christmas like with the smell from the candle. That is really smart
Melting the wax is a clever idea; it makes for much less mess. I just wonder if there will be enough wax then?
