[Pro Tips] Waxing Pro-Tip

[image] Waxing components during your build : Everyone has their own style, their own preferences, idiosyncrasies with their wax processes. There is no one set way to do anything, find your niche and enjoy making these kits. Need Help! Anyone have any waxing tips?

Yes, it can be a headache and make a mess with the wax provided…BUT I have now finished over 80 models and the only wax I use is the wax provided. I would NEVER use Vaseline because it is so greasy and WILL attract dust because it never dry. If I EVER run out of wax, I will use a candle…Never Vaseline.

My first time using wax, hence the wax reading, but also I might overterrorised myself hihihi

Also asked help from one of my long stay guest his first DIY miniatures kit

He’s getting addicted to finish it, which understandable considering how exciting it is when the train starts working!

We decided to repaint the wall map of the world after years!

I do have plans in my mind to customize the sakura petals but I still haven’t bought the materials, so let’s see for next update how the customization gonna be

Wax is definitely very important! I had to use it when I was building my Starry Night Orrery. I’ve only ever used the wax that came in the kit and it worked very well. The progress you’ve made so far looks fantastic! I hope everything continues to go smoothly.

Yes…wax, wax, wax when dealing with wooden moving parts. It will make them go much smoother.
