So I started my Gramophone kit today(super exciting🎉)and I’m worried I’m not going to have enough wax. I am only on page 4. I feel like I’m going to go through my wax stick too quickly. I am already like 30% through it. I think I want to be generous with the wax because I am nervous that my Gramophone won’t play smoothly.
My question to other people who have done this kit was did you have enough wax or did you have to supplement your own?
I’m pretty sure each set comes with the wax needed (I had your same feeling during the Dream Gift Factory building process), but I’ll let someone who’s actually build it to better clarify this for you

You should have plenty…but don’t worry. IF you run out, you can always use a birthday candle.

I think others provide their own wax. I can’t give you an advice since I haven’t done a kit that requires a wax, I’m sorry.

I hope the wax is enough. Otherwise I’ve seen others using candles and the people on Reddit recommend wood lubricants. 
This would be a fun kit to build. Enjoy building. You can use any type of candles if you ran out.
So far it has been enjoyable to just do one step at a time. In some ways it takes less brain power from me to build something mechanical vrs. Putting leaves on a tree type activities.
Saw people talking about wood lubricants. Honestly sounds messy and stinky. I don’t have any birthday candles around the house or cheap crayons. I like the idea of wax because it seems protective. If I end up needing to supplement a lot I’m planning to recommend Robotime add more wax to certain kits.

That’s a really good idea! Some people might also lose them so a back up is good. I have scented candles at home so I might try them out. I hope you’ve got enough to last!
I have not built this before but most people say you can any candle to wax your build.
Robotime makes ROKR and Rolife models. Since you are a fan of moving models (made by ROKR), I would’ve assumed you knew this…

If you run out, you can use a birthday candle. I bought some Impresa Wood Lubricant. It works great and will last forever. Your project looks fantastic!

I have so far used candle wax as well, not even using the sticks that come with the builds… Candle wax works just as good
This is such a nice kit to make 
i had enough wax. At first, you’ll need to wax a lot, but after that, it’s mostly just the conversion, and there’s not much left to wax. Good luck!
