👍 [Quality Post] Beads aren’t just for jewelry! Ideas for decorating your miniatures with them

Did you know that beads are not just for jewelry and accessories?

Let me show you some examples of how beads can be useful for decorating your miniatures!

Just like in crochet, which I talked about in my previous article, bead weaving also has an amigurumi technique. This type of weaving is notable for its volume. You can create 3D characters that can be part of the display in your miniature houses.

I personally get most of my inspiration from Pinterest. Just type in “Beaded fish” or anything you like, and Pinterest will give you tons of photos and patterns of beaded fish. :fish:

Just like with characters, you can also weave decorative elements, such as wreaths, flower bouquets, or sweets. Your imagination is the only limit!

For example, I love weaving 3D strawberries. They look so realistic and really catch the eye. If I could, I would eat them haha.

You may have come across similar String curtains in real life. They look very unusual and make a pleasant rustling sound when you walk through them. You can create similar curtains for your miniature room. Like a pixel art design, you can depict various illustrations in them.

In the example above, you can see how someone made such a curtain with a fish.

To create such beadwork, you will need beads, thread, thin needles, and patterns. You can also find patterns on Pinterest or by searching in your browser.

At first, they might be hard to understand, but over time you’ll develop the skill.

You can see how well the beaded cherry blossom matches my Rolife Sakura Journey 3D Wooden Puzzle TGS02.

Thank you for reading! I hope I was helpful.

I’ve credited all the creators of the pieces on the slides.

Adding Nanci picture of Rolife (Robotime) to the article is very relevant to the topic - Robotime Community

When I get my Nanci, I’ll include her in every post! But for now, it’s not possible.:smiling_face_with_tear:

So cute!! You’ve chosen some adorable examples, and what you’ve made is just lovely! These tiny pieces can be such a cute addition to a miniature: flowers, a small curtain, a decorative animal, or even something to place inside the scene. I love it! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Thank you so much! I’m planning to make a small beaded bouquet someday and give it to Nanci! But for now, I’m waiting for her to arrive :alarm_clock:

In any case, your topic should be related to Robotime products, or at least products in the same field.

By the way, I just thought — I wonder if it’s possible to make a small Nanci out of beads. I would even give it a try

Oh.. I understood. Than I will add something from Robotime to the post, sorry

It looks really cute, and the flower on the ring matches it perfectly. I love the shower curtain. Will you continue combining this hobby with Rolife products?

These are some wonderful, creative ideas!
