I can’t tell you how much peace building this kit has brought me. Especially today…because we got a call that my dad’s open heart surgery is being fast tracked to next week. They’re doing 5 bypasses! I’m pretty scared, so building miniatures is helping me hold myself together.
Especially this build, because of the theme being my happy place. I worked more on the right side wall. I painted the edges of everything and also changed the color of the roof. I also added some greenery. It’s all coming together nicely and I’m loving it.
Hopefully I will be able to finish this tomorrow because I probably won’t be able to build next week…we’ll be at the hospital for a week or more depending how it goes. If you are a praying kind of person, I could use all of the prayers I can get.
In the meantime…I am really enjoying this build and looking at all the little details.
