Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers for my dad who had a heart attack. He is recovering in my home waiting to get stronger for a heart procedure in a few weeks.
Yesterday, after three long weeks of not being able to build…I’m once again in my happy place! I was able to spend time building this miniature fruit stand.(not Rolife). It came in the mail yesterday, and I decided to build it real quick. I didn’t do any customizing except to use a furniture marker in the edges because after such a long break from building, I just wanted to complete a quick little build to have that feeling of accomplishment once again. Ahhhh, that peaceful feeling of sitting at my workspace, just me and my build. I’ve really missed this…and it really makes me so thankful to @Robotime for this hobby that I love so much and the peace that it brings among life’s curveballs.
I don’t know the name of this kit, other than it’s a vegetable stand I got on Temu. It’s great quality wood and the instructions are just pictures without words, but it’s very simple to assemble. I might make it into a magnet and display it on my fridge. We’ll see.
Glad you found some peace from this. I can totally relate. After a couple days of not building I miss my office. The smell of the kit, the glue, my chair and the solitary feeling of just a task to complete for a little bit.
