I have been pretty quiet in the forum for the last week because my dad had a heart attack and is still in the hospital.
I’ve been missing being able to build, but I did decide to take a little time to organize my stash of kits.i started using an app to keep track of builds I have completed, a list of my stash, and also a wish list.
You all might think I’m crazy, but I discovered that I have twice as many kits in my stash as I originally thought. I have a total of 123 in my stash.
This isn’t all of them, but here’s a few pictures. Yes, I might have gone overboard. lol
Such an amazing stash Tricia. I feel better about mine now (60). And your stash has sooo many in it that I also have (or want). Where did you get the Taste Life kitchen. I’ve been looking for that everywhere. I’ve got quite a collection of the Cuteroom small rooms that I plan to use to decorate my dollhouse.
Anyway, dreaming aside, how is your Dad doing now?
I’m sorry to hear about your dad’s heart attack—I hope he’s getting the care he needs. I’m glad that this hobby can be both a comfort and a source of pride, even during tough times.
My dad has also been in the hospital with CHF these past two weeks - he’s already had all the valves replaced twice and now needs a new mitral. Hope your dad improves a little each day. The floor at MGH is all heart patients and they are all men. It’s very scary and very sad…my heart goes out to you.
Hanging Garden was my favorite build of the ones you have that I have also done. It’s very fun although plant intensive.
