[Pro Tips] The 5-Second Rule Before You Glue!

That’s a great habit! :yellow_heart: Doing a dry fit on a black background first is a smart way to catch any mistakes before the glue comes out. I love learning little tips like this from fellow builders. Thanks for sharing!

This is such a good tip! I’ve definitely had those moments, so taking a few seconds before gluing sounds like a tiny habit that can save a lot of frustration.

Thank you! :yellow_heart: It’s amazing how just a few extra seconds can prevent those little “oops” moments. It has definitely saved me from having to pry pieces apart more than once! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Exactly! Those few seconds can save so much stress later, especially when the piece is tiny and already covered in glue hahahah

This is definitely a good tip! I make sure to look ahead in the instructions to make sure that I want the piece facing the way it is. Sometimes, I’m able to hide an imperfections if it’s going to be covered later on in the build.

Hahaha, exactly! :joy: Once the glue is on, the pressure is on too! Those few extra seconds of checking are much less stressful than trying to fix a tiny piece that’s already glued in the wrong place.:yellow_heart:

Thank you! :yellow_heart: Looking ahead in the instructions is such a great habit. I do the same whenever I can. And you’re absolutely right, sometimes knowing a piece will be hidden later gives a little extra peace of mind if it’s not absolutely perfect.
