[Pro Tips] Rubber cement erasers

A little while back I mentioned some tools that I find useful. One of those tools is a rubber cement eraser. I use it every single day and wouldn’t want to be without it now.

Here is a “before” picture of my mat with glue all over it.

Here is the “after” picture that I used the eraser to clean it.

I also use it to clean excess glue off of pieces after I have connected them. It also takes glue off of my fingers, which is much better on my skin than using chemicals. I bought these on Temu, but they are available on Amazon and other places. Give them a try!

Great tip Tina. For a long time I was using either goo gone or another adhesive remover. I’ll definitely give this a try.

Great tip. I should have known and used it when doing my cheap DIY kits when I glued my fingers together more than once

What’s the name of the product? The Spanish translation is giving me some weird results.

That’s a fantastic Tina. Thanks so much for sharing this idea. I love that it also cleans your fingers.

@mchipman they’re really cheap and you have to rub it back and forth on the edge, but it’s great!

@Minus_88 it’s perfect for getting your off fingers. Leaves them feeling smooth.
