I’m finally finishing up a very long build. I’m to the part where I’m constructing walls and attaching lights to ceilings I have come across these hollow square tubes that really add a nice touch to lighting. Instead of gluing wires to a build, feed the wires through these tubes and then glue the tubes down. They look much nicer that having wires showing everywhere. The tubing can even be painted to match the ceiling or walls so that it blends into the build better. I absolutely love them!
Great idea!! I’ll add these to my ever growing carts.
great idea. perfect
@Suzanne_Jones they are really cheap. Make sure the ones you get are hollow…the first ones I bought looked like they were, but they weren’t.
Thank you @ThaoNguyen …I love cheap items that enhance a build!
Ohhh that light is beautiful!
Cool! I just paint the wires.
Great idea! So it’s like the bigger version for adding a protection in the wires in our houses – smart.
Oh my. I want your brain! Another super wonderful idea. The good thing is I’m just building my first Miniature House so there’s time to adapt ![]()
So many people have so many great ideas.
I know, I know. It was just the moment and time to praise yours ![]()

This is such a nice tip. This is also what’s done to wires in real life. Makes it look neat too. Thanks for sharing @Tkaplan
@jeanneL I absolutely
Love it…got it on Temu
@Nita_Davis I have done that as well, but for me at least, it is easier to glue this down than mess with the wires.
Very true.
@Anje_Leonoza_Mira and for hiding the wires to make it look nicer. If you can put them up against a wall and paint it to match, it’s hardly noticeable. ![]()
@Jill_Francisco it sure does…and they’re so easy to use.
@TheToday that’s one of the best things about this hobby…adaptation! ![]()
@Clarerelph82 it really is!![]()
