Oh no, not more tools I need!
This is great! Just got my mum to order them in Scotland, since I can’t find these anywhere over here, and nowhere ships overseas! I’ll get To pick them up when I go to visit in a few months! ![]()

Thanks for sharing. This will come in handy with future builds i want to make..
Paint roller use covered in previous posted Paint Studies reinforces data in the original posting. 99%of my painting is by roller. I’ll have to look into these new teflon type rollers have not seen them before. Thank you for the lead.
I have three different sizes of rollers. The smallest is probably 1.5 cm, and the largest is probably about 3 to 4 cm. I think this will allow me to paint my work faster and more precisely. If there are details, I’ll have to use a brush to paint around them.
Hahaha I also need another toolbox to store everything
Luckily, you have a mother who can help you. I think these rolls are made in the Netherlands.
This roller is perfect for large surfaces. Unfortunately, I didn’t have it yet when I started making the pinball.
Your welcome
I’ve used paint rollers before, but they were much larger and sucked up the paint, resulting in more wasted paint. I then had to thin the acrylic paint a bit to spread it properly. With this roller, that’s not necessary, and I also need significantly less paint. The paint doesn’t stick to them, and they’re very quick to clean.
Diffrent sized rollers is a great idea omg!! it’ll cut your work for you by loads!!
@Liset oh I need one of them ! Thank you for sharing
This is awesome! I love the finish that you got with these.
What a thoughtful and helpful gift.
Dang it! That’s a cute roller. Love it
Oh gosh Liset this is amazing!
Thanks for sharing and making me open my wallet again! ![]()
I had tried using rollers to paint before but I hated them, but I think it’s because I had foam rollers and they absorbed a lot of paint. ![]()
I also see no streaks now, and the paint is very even. I’ll definitely use it more often and I’m curious if it will make the painting process go faster.
I’ve tried regular rollers before, and they didn’t work well with the acrylic paint, or I had to dilute it a lot. These work very well (in this test). I’m curious to see how they work on larger surfaces. Sorry to make you spend money again ![]()
I certainly hope so. I am over here on this gear Ball challenge and there are very few things that I could even use that on…but every little bit helps. I’ve accomplished two steps today because of all the painting which has to be done with a brush…LOL!
I think I’ll use it from now on on all parts that don’t have details I need to paint around. The paint goes on much better with this tool than with a brush.
I’ll be waiting to hear about larger surfaces.
I’ll definitely add them to the list but not urgently.
I don’t think I have anything large to paint. Based on your experience, do you think I’ll need this for the Dream Factory? ![]()
No the dream factory is pre-painted. I only painted the edges
i will let you know how this tool works on larger surfaces
