👍 [Pro Tips] A new handy tool

Great post! This is so helpful - I’m currently repainting an entire kit and this will help with getting a smoother finish. I had no idea it existed. Thanks for sharing!

I’m so used to using big rollers. I didn’t know that they make mini rollers. Awesome Tip.

I didn’t know it existed either, I came across it by chance on the internet

These rollers are truly different from regular paint rollers. They don’t absorb paint, they only stick to the outside. They use a lot less paint, and the paint is distributed more evenly.

The roller is such a smart idea. does it soak up a lot of paint in the roller?

The paint doesn’t soak into the roller that’s why this roller is so great  With a small amount of paint, I was able to paint a lot. The rollers are very easy to clean.

That’s fantastic. I would look into something like this for the pinball machine

Wow…awesome tip! Now I might have to look for those…I wouldn’t dread painting large areas if I had these!

Has anyone in the US bought these? I looked in Amazon but couldn’t find any that look like these.

I also used the larger roller on a larger surface, and I noticed that the handle came loose quickly. The roller and handle are connected by a magnet, but I was glad I had it. The paint is applied more evenly to the wood.

Is there certain paints you cannot use on a kit? Im getting the space shuttle soon as my first wooden puzzle but its only wood colour :face_holding_back_tears:

I think you can use any hobby paint. Most people use acrylic paint. Here are some links with painting tips: New to Rolife and wanting to paint a pice - #16 by Robotime
