Today was able to apply the accent green to all 234 roof components. That was the easy part. Left them to dry while I went to my oil painting class, thinking I’ll start the final accent gold later in the day.
Have been looking forward to the last bit of fine detail paint application on these roof components so I can move forward on the balance of red parts requiring painting. Then I can get focused on the components that have multiple color details. Could only do 50 before deciding to call it a day. The end of these roof components is the main visible and decorative feature. Only a small portion of red on the part can actually seen. This gold accent detail is teaching me even more patience is required since it only measures 2mm x 2mm (imperial people think a fat 1/16 inch squared, it’s actually less than 3/32” squared). Yes, this painting is once again done under a magnifying glass.
There is always tomorrow, reward yourself with a break or two when building. Recharge your mental patience capacity battery!

That is some serious patience and dedication! Painting 2mm details under a magnifying glass sounds like quite the challenge, but I love your reminder that there’s always tomorrow. Sometimes stepping away and recharging is just as important as making progress. Can’t wait to see how those beautiful roof details turn out when they’re finished!
