Although these colors complement each other, they are by far the hardest two colors to tweak during the touch up process phase. All of the green was painted under a 2x magnify glass setup leveraging ultra-fine brush at the 00000 level for cut-in work, then using 000 sized brush for actually applying the top coat of three passes after each coat drying.
What was learned from reaching Milestone 3?
Patience and more Patience, and do NOT make sudden moves of the brushes while under the magnify glass.
Yes, build time elapsed to date is- 134 hrs and 11 minutes (over 38 build days), I just happen to like long builds.
Cheers to all the builders out there, hope you are having fun with your current build.
134 hours is some serious dedication, and it definitely shows in the results. Your attention to detail and patience with those tiny paint touch-ups are impressive, and I can imagine how steady your hand has to be under the magnifier. Wishing you smooth progress as you work toward the finish line!
Wow! That’s some serious dedication! But, boy does it pay off. That detail work is absolutely stunning! Thanks for sharing and I really look forward to watching this process!
Wow, it’s been a while since your last update on this build! It’s amazing to see how much detail and creativity you’ve put into it. I can’t wait to see the final result. I’ll be watching for your next update!
