I managed to paint some more today. These parts were a dark blue color that didn’t match the blue I’d already used. I decided to paint the dark blue section the same shade of blue as the rest of the structure. I wanted to keep the gold details, so I decided to paint around them. With a very small brush, I managed to paint between the details, but man, that’s precision work. I still have three more parts to paint, and then this step is finished. But I’ll continue with that tomorrow.

Tip: I carefully scratched away the spots where I painted over the gold details with a precision knife.
