This is a post from a man who has shared SO many wonderful models that he has created. He uses wood putty and spackle to build up the bodies of the cars that he makes and paints them meticulously. He cuts some models apart to make and form new models as well. I have been admiring his work for almost two years…and it was so touching to see that he tagged me as his inspiration on this post…as he has inspired me SO much in the past. Peter Nicolaus on Facebook. His work is amazing. Please check him out because he is not a member here. I feel so honored to have been recognized by him. He has always complimented my work, but THIS was very special to me. Included is MY version of the London Travel Marble Run. https://www.facebook.com/groups/511987809211616/permalink/2209096136167433/ 👍 [ROKR DIY & Creativity] LONDON travel marble completed
His achievements are truly admirable.
Yes, they are. He has so many creations that many will never see unless searching the ROKR page under his name with posts made by him. SUCH an admired artist! @ThaoNguyen
Wow his work is truly amazing. The colour he choose for his London marble run is just so unique. I love it.
I searched for and viewed his work on ROKR groups. It’s amazing. Thank you for the recommendation; otherwise, very few people would know about his talent.
My link is also there…but yes, he did a wonderful job. His models are always over the top.
Yes it is! @ThaoNguyen I think that he is a bit older than I am maybe even by 10 years or so… maybe in his seventies. I’m not quite sure but his work is stunning
Wow! You both made a beautiful version of the London Marble Run. Seeing your work is inspiring and contagious @Nita_Davis that’s why this year I will also try my hands in painting ![]()
I so look forward to seeing you your progress. We are all just here to better our skills and learn from one another. These models deserve our patients and time in my opinion. @Jill_Francisco . All Out of Love Today but I will be sure to come back and love your comment tomorrow.
I have definitely seen his work! It’s out of this world!
I think it was because of a post you made in the group wondering where he was? ![]()
I absolutely did so because he is an amazing artist and I always followed what he was doing. I’m not sure how old he is but I was concerned about him so I was happy to see him respond. @JDisaduck
Didn’t you poat this already a while ago?
What this man does is amazing. I find it trully incredible.
Post Peter’s London Travel Marble run? No, he only made this post a few days ago. I shared Paul Bird’s magnificent Barque quite a while back, though @Jerry_Boswijk
Yeah that was the one.
Peter Nicholas takes wood modeling to a whole nother level with his re-engineered vehicles. He is very popular in the ROKR Official dans group. Any time you want to view someone’s posts there, just put their name into the search bar and then on the next step, put their name in the ‘posted by’ section as well. @Jerry_Boswijk
His creativity and craftsmanship are truly inspiring, and his work brings so much inspiration to everyone who sees it. Thank you so much for sharing his post with us and for letting more people discover such amazing work.
I’m always amazed by Peter’s creativity. His creations are absolutely stunning. I think it’s amazing how he always manages to adapt them. Your creativity is always very inspiring so I understand that Peter recognizes you ![]()
Thank you @Liset. YOU were my inspiration for building a second pinball machine. I think it is great that we can all learn from (and be inspired by others) and at the same time, be their inspiration as well. I have so much respect for Peter and his originality. He is not afraid at all to totally transform a simple model into something spectacular. Doug Mann is another member whose models are nothing short of amazing.
Thank you @Nita_Davis It always feels like an honor when someone is inspired by my creations. I’m still very curious about your pinball ![]()
