Hey guys! :waving_hand:t2::waving_hand:t2:

I haven’t posted in a bit so I thought I’d share my progress so far on Sam’s Study!

I got all the big furniture pieces built! This kit is nice because all the pieces were all pre-painted and in bags, kind of like the newer kits! You still have to bend all your own handles, so still a bit of challenge!

I think my favourite pieces to build were the chair, the table, and the little side table! I just think they turned out so cute! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I also built some little accessories…

And then got started on all the paper cutting and folding! I actually like cutting the pieces out and folding, I find it very relaxing. This is about as far as I got.

My next step is cutting and folding 47 of these!! :rofl::rofl: It’s going to be a lot, but I think it’s easy enough I can do some each day after work!

Honestly your work is so neat! Just look at that chair! And I’m the same I actually really like cutting and folding books. It’s therapeutic for me. :blush:

I gave you a heart because this is looking SO good…but I would never be a fan of cutting and folding 47 books…LOL!

It seems it need a lot of patience especially in making those books. 47 books are so many. I love all the furnitures and it’s brilliant that they go first before the books so you can place each of them on the shelves after working one by one. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Thank you! Yes! I could definitely see this kit being difficult for people who don’t like manually cutting stuff out! :rofl:

Haha! Well, we all have our likes and dislikes during our builds! I have to paint 3 things and feel like I’m dying doing it! :rofl::rofl:

Thank you! That’s not even all the cutting and folding, that’s just the next step. I think I have like 50 books to make where you wrap the little piece of paper around a square of wood after. :sweat_smile:

Your doing a great job. The chair most be hard to make. I always have trouble with fabric and making it look good.

Do you use scissors or a blade when cutting books? :laughing:

I use scissors to cut all like the easy to access parts, and then use a blade for any like little notches or w/e :joy:
