I’m having so many ideas for rooms that I would like to build and dioramas that I want to make. But also, so many kits to build.
I’m currently working on a room that is 1:12 (so that is bigger than a Rolife kit but still considered miniature).
I have to say though, that I feel like I am building for a giant lol
As I’m working, I’m finding more ideas for what I want to do and I’ve ordered a couple of things.
I really need to look at my printer and try to get it working so that will help me a lot and well.
So, this is what I have so far.
I’ll keep you updated as I go.

I’m sure it will be amazing in the end. Your patience with the stain pen is something I could never do. I dip my pieces right into a can of stain and wipe…or use a cotton ball or Qtip to apply from the can. You go, girl!

1:12 sound like a big commitment but I am sure it is rewarding
And with that scale , u can put more detail in it

Do you mean about the staining? I paint houses for a living so I am used to trying to be efficient. I wish you well in whatever you are doing.

no wonder u have such a good idea, that was from real life experience
Coz I still just paint them slowly .. did not think out of box to do it more efficient.
I did buy a spray paint gun but did not work well for me , used a few times and now just in a box underneath the desk …

You are very welcome. Always happy to offer advice. I use a spray gun for my houses…but would NEVER invest in one for things this small. Cleanup time would NOT be worth it for me. @Kycso

Yeah lots of clean up for the spray gun and then it did not spray well … duno if I bought a cheap one or I need more practise

I have a lot of 1:12 stuff that I’ve collected. I just need to put it all together as my vision.

I can’t finish it off until I get a couple of things and a tool.
