My city is Hamilton, New Zealand. I have lived here for 5 years now. I moved here to close the gap with my then long distance partner, and now we’re living happily together.
I have enjoyed exploring my new city and getting to know his friends and family, and also making my own new friends here.
It was his sister that introduced me to Rolife kits - she had an unfinished Anne’s Bedroom that she shared with me and which I completed. Honestly, putting together those tiny slippers and making the quilt - I was hooked. I immediately went and purchased my own first kit, Emily’s Flowershop(!)
I have not built 5 kits and am almost finished my 6th. I love creating the kits, adding my own little touches to them, and I still share each kit I make with his sister and mother, they can’t believe how I keep making more!
If my city was made into a Rolife kit, it would most definitely be the Hamilton Gardens! They are internationally recognised for their beauty. It is a unique collection of gardens from around the world, and with every turn you discover something new. It is such a good place to stroll around and see beauty in its most natural form.
