:yellow_heart: Mystery Reward — Turn Your City into a Miniature World

If your city could become a Robotime kit, what would it be?

:robot: AI Prompt

Replace [LANDMARK] with your city landmark:

A detailed wooden miniature model of [LANDMARK], in the style of Robotime DIY kits, warm natural wood texture, soft lighting, intricate structure, collectible scale, realistic craftsmanship, cozy atmosphere

I live in the same village as my parents only 1 km distance and so does my brother and his family. I’m glad to have them near, because we have a really good bond. I eat dinner there twice a week. I have lived together with my ex boyfriend and I was much further away, I really didn’t like that. But you know, the things we do for love :woman_shrugging:.

When it was over I immediately moved back and lived again with my parents for a few years until I got to build my own home. :house:

And I would turn our city hall into a Robotime kit.

My city is Quezon City and my parents’ City is in Makati City.

My Story:

My heart is split between two cities that shaped who I am today. I currently call Quezon City my home and it’s where I truly got to live out my passion for crafting. When I started my own family and became a housewife, I finally had the time and space to create. It’s here that Khimmymade grew from a quiet love into something real that was built through late nights, patience, and pieces made with care.

But my roots lead back to Makati City, where my parents are, and where I first discovered that love for crafting. Makati holds my childhood, the weekends between tall buildings and quiet green parks, and the warmth of family dinners. It was in those gentle, unhurried moments that creativity first found me.

Now, that same love has found a new meaning. I share it with my 7-year-old daughter, who is on the autism spectrum. Through crafting, we meet each other in a quiet, beautiful space, one filled with focus, patience, and understanding. Piece by piece, we build not just kits, but connection. In those moments, words aren’t always needed, only time, care, and the simple joy of creating something together.

The distance between Quezon City and Makati City is more than just a commute but it’s the bridge between where my passion began and where it continues to grow which is now passed gently into the next generation. Much like a Robotime DIY kit, my life feels like a collection of tiny, meaningful pieces from both cities, carefully assembled into something full of love.

Turning Quezon City into a Miniature World

If there’s one place that feels like a real-life Robotime kit, it would be Maginhawa Street in Quezon City.

What makes Maginhawa special isn’t just the food but it’s the feeling that every cafĆ© is its own tiny world. One moment, you’re stepping into a cozy dessert shop, and just a few steps away, you find a completely different theme, a different story, a different mood. It’s like walking through a collection of miniature scenes, each carefully designed with its own personality.

That’s exactly what building a Robotime kit feels like to me. Each piece may be small on its own, but when you put them together, they create something immersive. Something you can step into, even just for a moment.

Maginhawa reminds me that creativity doesn’t have to be one big masterpiece. Sometimes, it’s a street full of little ideas, little dreams, and little worlds with each one meaningful in its own way. And just like a DIY kit, all these pieces come together to create something unforgettable..:smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I live in the same Country And city of my parents England United kingdom. Unfortunatly we dont talk anymore..but when we used to? I remember always going to Stores with them to pick out Gifts for myself.

And we went to theme parks like Drayton Manor, a very fun place! Lots of delicious food.

Since we stopped talking i have been trying to find a hobby..a hobby i will stick to, thats when i found Robotime! An amazing brand With lots to offer..Wooden puzzles..Mechanical wooden puzzles and Even Jigsaw puzzles! Since then i have bought around 20-40 kits and i havent stopped yet  robotime has brought me so much happiness and Skills that i didnt know i needed

If my city became a Robotime kit..i would love it to be the Windsor Castle…it is the primary ā€œQueen’s Castleā€ associated with Queen Elizabeth II, serving as her main residence and the world’s oldest, largest inhabited castle. The 1,000-room Berkshire estate, used for state visits and private life

I was born in this village in 1972 as there was a maternity here, a few years later there wasn’t anymore, we are not a big community, I live only 5 km from the border with France in Zwevegem,West Flanders, Belgium, I lived here my whole life, my husband is also from the same village, i don’t think we will ever move to another village or city, I will probably die here like I was born here, i am from the same country as Minus_88 as you can see on the map

We don’t have any big famous buildings in our village so it’s hard turning into a wooden kit, this mill we have everyone knows in our village and it is very near to my house, the mill is called ā€œKlockemolenā€ in English ā€œKlocke Millā€, that mill would diffidently be a great wooden kit and would sure buy it

Ever since my little sister was born, our family has lived in Peachtree City. I am currently a junior in high school and I am going to graduate next year. I have spent practically my whole life here, starting my education all the way up to now. I learned to drive both a golf cart and car here in this city and it’s crazy to think our family has called this place home for over ten years. I have made some great memories here and I am not at all anxious to leave.

For a kit that represents my city, I thought it would be fun to base it on a golf cart. Golf carts are an iconic part of Peachtree City and something it’s really known for. They’re used for everyday transportation, and there are even paths and bridges designed just for them. I think it would make a really unique and meaningful kit, especially with how tied it is to the identity of the city.

My family is all from Galicia, but due to a lack of work my grandparents migrated to Barcelona.

Currently, 90% of my family still lives in Galicia.

When they migrated, my mom was seven months pregnant with me.

So, as a child, I always said I was Galician, haha, but I was actually born in Barcelona.

Galicia is very different from Barcelona. It’s so green, a special kind of green, with lots of humidity and a clean smell. Plus, the food is excellent.

Barcelona is beautiful, much more modern, with big cities, and more opportunities.

When I was little, during my school holidays, my grandparents and I would go to Galicia for a month.

Back then there were no high-speed trains, and flying was expensive.

We traveled on a train that took a whole day to arrive! It was quite an adventure; I remember it like it was yesterday. My grandmother making her famous sandwiches for the long journey, the coffee from the thermos, etc. Such wonderful memories.

The most representative landmark of Barcelona is Gaudí’s Sagrada Familia.

I’m leaving you some real photos of the place

I’d buy that kit too. It’s gorgeous.

That’s a cool thing to know @Zoe_Lau. I guess having golf carts instead of cars cuts down on the fuel bill.

That’s stunning @Sasa. I’d buy that kit as well.

Thank you so much!

If you ever have the chance to visit Barcelona, don’t miss the Sagrada Familia!

23 years ago, my family decided to migrate to Australia for better future and education opportunity. Our journey started in Sydney Australia. It wasn’t easy when I was only 10 years old. Like was difficult, got bullied at school then change to another school and slowly progress to top of the class. Finishes high school in Sydney and during a lovely trip to Melbourne our family decided to make Melbourne as our forever home city. So another journey begins in a whole new city we called Melbourne. Yes we haven’t got much relatives here in Melbourne but our family of 3 (My mother, sister and I) are blessed with genuine close friends and neighbours.

Melbourne may not be as fast pace compared to Sydney but it is the most suitable and enjoyable city to live in for us.

Vietnam was our country of birth but Australia is our country of residency. It is our home for over 23 years and Melbourne have so much memories connected to our life. Doesn’t matter where we are, we are always looking forward to coming back to Melbourne, a place we call home. A place where most of my happiest moments with my family especially my mum are spent.

Right now, mum is away from home for a few months but she always there on the other line if we needed her. We are supporting our mum to look after our grandma and complete her duty as a daughter. This is the value that we have built for generations and will continued. My mother has been the best mum in the world for us who raised and supported us as both a mother and a father would.

We love Melbourne and where most of our weekend trips are spent. Melbourne are know for its popular tram rides. So when I saw tram kit from Robotime, it reminds me of Melbourne straight away.

I am lucky enough to live in the same city as my parents, only about a 5minute drive away, I am also glad to see some fellow Australians here lighting up the sky!

Our city is a rural country town 3hrs inland from our main city Brisbane. We didn’t always live here and have only been here for about a year and a half now.

It is such a nice place, living in a small town with no traffic and less people. Everytime we go into the city, we immediately want to come back here now

I love being near my parents, they always support me throughout everything and I am extremely grateful to be blessed with them.

I was born and raised in Brisbane. The capital city of Queensland, a state in Australia. My parents lived there at the time, although my father defected from Hungary during the Russian occupation. I currently live in Beaudesert, a semi-rural town about 70kms south west of Brisbane and about the same distance west-north-west of the Gold Coast. My husband was born here and raised in a country town 30kms from here.

I grew up in the outer suburbs of Brisbane but when I moved out of home at 17, I lived in a unit on the Brisbane River near the city. I would go into the city at least every day either to use the public transport to my place of work, to shop, or to eat out.
The Brisbane river (also known as the Brown Snake) is crossed by a number of bridges but the most iconic bridge is the Storey Bridge.

On the south bank of the river, is a parkland area filled with restaurants, swimming areas, and picnic areas. This area used to be full of industrial warehouses, but when the World Expo 88 took place it was all rebuilt and revitalised. Now it is a common meeting place for families, joggers, and others.

I’ve chosen a kit inspiration that includes the Storey Bridge. I love that includes the Southbank Wheel, the river, a ferry, the heritage listed City Hall, and the skyscrapers.

Hey there, you are the first person I’ve found who lives near me. Where are you located if you don’t mind me asking?

Every year for my birthday, my grandma flies all the way from Canada to Florida just to be with me.

It’s something I look forward to more than anything — not just the day itself, but the quiet moments we share together. Sitting side by side, talking, laughing, and just enjoying time that feels like it slows down. Those visits remind me how special the little things are — the kind of moments you wish you could hold onto forever.

That’s what I love about building miniatures. They capture that same feeling — tiny, cozy worlds where memories can live on. :yellow_heart:

If I could turn a moment into a miniature, it would be one of those birthdays with her.

I’d choose the library because it feels like the heart of the city :white_heart: It’s calm, cozy, and full of stories—basically everything I love about mini builds. Turning it into a Robotime kit would make it feel like you’re building a little world you can actually step into :sparkles:

It definitely does! Because you can get to so many places on the golf cart, we sometimes take it to run errands when it’s nice outside. It’s really easy to charge it too.

My Story:

Ho Chi Minh City is where I was born and raised. I am proud of my city and my country. It is a place with people who were brave in war and who are constantly progressing in economic development. I belong to a special generation, as the city began to ā€œtransform,ā€ and the pace of city life gradually changed dramatically over time. When I was young, there was no internet; everything I learned came from books and newspapers, and television stopped at 10 pm. As I grew up, I witnessed familiar street corners being replaced by high-rise buildings, wider roads, and an increasingly hectic pace of life. We entered the digital age, transforming from a slow pace of life to a modern whirlwind. The city I live in is no different; now, you can find internet everywhere, people travel faster by car and metro. High-rise buildings spring up everywhere. The prosperity of a city is developing day by day.

That’s wonderful! I feel a sense of peace and tranquility through your picture.
