Hi, I was searching for an answer but I can’t find anything.
Is it possible to follow specific persons in this community, so that you can easily see what those people are posting and sharing, or maybe just get a notification about it?
Think about friends who are also part of the community, or persons who really inspire or give great explanations, etc etc?
This is an excellent question, but I don’t know the answer to it officially, but unofficially I have noticed that you can click or touch someone’s name and it brings up their information and then click portfolio and it seems to take you to their posts.
@Helga I have wondered the same thing and I haven’t found a way to do it. If I can’t find someone to click on their name, I have tried using the search function and that doesn’t pull up users either. I hope there’s an answer to this question.
Ive been wondering the same thing since i joined a few days ago as i would like to follow @Jo1 as she explains things nicely and her builds are just gorgeous but i dont think that option is available

There is a way but there are a few steps to it.
You can go to the top right and click on magnifier and enter the persons user name and enter. it opens some choices: search all topics and replies
searching this topic
Search this persons info
Choosing the last one is similar to what was mentioned. If you select that and select their name again it opens alot of choices. You can select their activity and then narrow down to Topics or replies.
Unsure if this helps.
I do know you can block someone so you do not see their posts too.
WOW! I’ve been on this site for 7 months and never even explored preferences. Since you have, did you actually find a setting that @Alicesharpe is referring to?
This is exactly how I do it. I never knew anything about the “preferences” category that @Jo1 has brought up…and I did not see that there are many options there.
I just checked it by now. All I can see is that the one you can follow is the topic but not the user and the user that you can mute. >< Maybe she’s just pertaining to other things.
I’m not really digging the settings here too even though I’ve joined months ago. It’s okay. You’re not alone. There are still things that I’m also not familiar here until now. ><
It’s a learning process for sure…but I honestly don’t feel the need to “follow” any certain person. For those of us who log in daily, it’s not really that hard to scroll through the newest posts…and because we commented, we will see new updates on that post. @serenebliss_23
