When you go to your profile, select the expand option, you can see the total number of ‘cheers’ which are the points on the leader board.
You seem to have a total of 815 points at the moment.

You cannot use them for anything. The points that you gather count and give you a position on the leader board. At the end of the month the ranking on the leader board counts. And first 30 people win a prize.

You cannot see those points separately. You just see the separate messages you get after spinning the wheel.

You can see them on your profile as others have mentioned, or on the leaderboard.
The points are for the leaderboard. You should definitely read the article that the others shared. If you’re in the top 30 of the leaderboard at the end of the month, you’ll win a prize.
