Everyone has someone who inspires them, encourages them, and believes in them even when they don’t realize how much they need it. For me, that person is my grandma, better known as my Mamma
While many people know me through my miniature builds, cozy content, and now my Robotime journey, what they may not know is that behind every build is someone who has been cheering me on from the very beginning.
I spent so much of my childhood with my Mamma. She wasn’t just my grandma—she became one of the most important people in my life. She has always felt like a parent figure to me, but somehow even more special because she is my Mamma. She has been there through every stage of my life, celebrating my wins, helping me through challenges, and reminding me to keep going when things felt difficult.
Q my love for miniature building grew, so did her excitement for it. ![]()
She is always asking questions about my newest kit, wanting updates on my progress, and asking when I’ll send photos of my latest build. The moment I finish a project, she’s usually one of the very first people to see it. Whether it’s a tiny flower shop, a cozy room, or a magical book nook, she looks at every detail and genuinely shares in my excitement.
What makes it even more special is that she truly loves miniatures. She understands why I love this hobby so much. She sees the creativity, patience, and joy that goes into every tiny piece. She celebrates every completed project right alongside me, no matter how big or small.
One thing I’ll always treasure is how excited my Mamma gets when I send her photos of a finished build. After hours of working on tiny pieces, it’s the best feeling to share the final result with someone who genuinely appreciates every little detail. Her excitement somehow makes me even more proud of what I’ve created.
Over the years, she has also gifted me so many wonderful kits. Every time she surprises me with a new miniature project, it feels like she’s saying, “I believe in you. Keep creating.” Those gifts have become so much more than kits—they’ve become memories, moments, and reminders of how loved and supported I am.
Even now, whenever I finish a kit, I catch myself thinking, “I can’t wait to show Mamma.” She has become such a special part of my miniature journey that it wouldn’t feel complete without sharing it with her.
One of my favorite memories will always be when she flew all the way from Canada to attend my very first Robotime meetup, Miniatures in Bloom. ![]()
Of all the places she could have been, she chose to be there supporting me. Seeing her walk into that event meant more than I can put into words. She got to see the community we’ve built, meet fellow miniature enthusiasts, and experience firsthand something I had worked so hard to create. Having her there made the day even more meaningful. And if we’re lucky, she might even make an appearance at my second meetup, Petals & Picnics ![]()

When people compliment my builds or my events, I always think about the people who helped me get here. My Mamma is at the very top of that list.
Every tiny world I build carries a little piece of her love, encouragement, and support. She has taught me to be creative, kind, determined, and to always believe in myself. Those lessons have shaped not only the builder I am today, but the person I am becoming.
So this post is for you, Mamma. ![]()
Mamma, thank you for being one of the greatest blessings in my life. Thank you for every question about my kits, every photo you’ve asked to see, every encouraging message, every thoughtful gift, every mile traveled to support me, and every moment you’ve spent believing in me.
You are my biggest cheerleader, my favorite build buddy, and forever one of my greatest inspirations
I love you more than words can ever say![]()
