[Heartwarming] A Different Brand, Same Love for Miniatures ❤️

Started the week the right way — by working on my project (after work, of course). It’s slowly taking shape, and I’m getting more excited to see it finished. At the same time, I don’t want to rush the process because the building journey is part of the fun.

Though this kit is from another brand, my love for miniatures couldn’t keep me away from it. And since the scene has strong Hong Kong vibes, I was easily drawn to it. It brings back memories of traveling there with my dad when I was younger, back when he had an office in Hong Kong.

Unlike Rolife miniatures, all the pieces from this kit are from boards so they’re all flat. I thought of painting the edges, too. But I think I like the way it looks as is (so far).

Instructions are simplified. Mostly just pictures of the pieces with its corresponding code and arrows pointing to where it goes, and a few notes here and there for reminders. It’s not difficult to follow - it’s just different from what I’m used to.

Now I’m thinking about whether I should add some personal touches to make it reflect those memories or keep it as it is since it’s inspired by a movie scene.

Either way, I’m enjoying every little piece coming together. :puzzle_piece::heart:

Sharing my progress here :backhand_index_pointing_down:t2:

I do find that pictures are much easier to follow sometimes than written instructions. I am glad you’re able to find time to work on your project

Right? It saves me from having to use google translate, too

Thanks @Grey74 … sometimes, it’s hard to find time, though. Relieved I am able to now.
