Imagine yourself opening a door and stepping out onto the balcony. A warm sea breeze drifts past and gently plays with your hair as you look ahead, where a breathtaking sunset greets you, its golden rays spilling across the tiny coastal town below.
This is precisely what I felt when I finished building the Sunset Isle Book Nook. It felt almost real, as though I were there myself, taking in the view with my own eyes, breathing in the salty sea breeze and taking photos of the sunset on my phone.
I love that there are two lighting modes: day and dusk. The difference is subtle yet noticeable. I’ve tried my best to capture the atmosphere each one setting creates in the photos below.
The designer has thought of every detail. The side walls are filled with colourful art and I’m especially in love with the back wall. Why? Because it’s designed like a postcard. Every part of this build feels like a lovely coastal holiday.
This was a delightful build. The pieces fit together beautifully and the quality was amazing. It did take me longer than the suggested 5 hours to complete, but I’m a slow builder who loves taking my time enjoying every therapeutic moment. I painted many of the edges but I didn’t customise anything else.
Unfortunately, alcohol and I don’t get along so I can’t suggest a drink pairing. I’m assuming this little blue drink is meant to be some sort of cocktail but does anyone know which one?
I tried my best with the photos, but I don’t think I fully captured the beauty of this book nook. It’s even more stunning in real life, especially in dusk mode.
This book nook truly radiates warmth and the charm of a seaside escape. Thank you @Robotime for giving me the opportunity to experience its magic for myself. And thanks for reading!
Thanks Liesbeth! Hahaha unfortunately I do not know but my partner does! I could never party because my body does not tolerate alcohol lol. It would’ve been super nice to be on a holiday at a place like this!
The scene that this kit creates is just so mesmerizing. You have captured its beauty so nicely both in words and in picture. I love the art on the side panels too. This book nook is very well thought of.
Jadeeee, what a wonderful review!!! Your photos are fantastic and capture the sunset mood perfectly. I think this book nook is so beautiful, and I love that it has two lighting effects. In my opinion, when kits have different light modes, it adds such a nice touch.
And I adore that the side looks like a postcard!!! So cute!!! Such a lovely post
