I’m a (wannabe) miniature artist based in (Fraser Valley) British Columbia, Canada, and I focus on transforming DIY kits into warm, story-driven spaces with a custom aesthetic. My goal is to show how anyone can be a miniature artist (you don’t need any prior experience) as well as showcasing how these kits can be personalized and brought to life beyond the original design.
While I am still early in my journey with miniature kit building, (started Jan 2026) I believe I bring a strong creative foundation, a fresh aesthetic vision, and a storytelling approach that sets my work apart.
I’ve also spent over 20 years hosting/designing events. I currently facilitate grief support groups, which has shaped how I approach creativity, connection, and community. I bring that same intention into my builds and the content I’m beginning to develop around them.
I have completed 4 kits so far and spend 30+ hours on each many of those hours dedicated to creating a new vision and unique add-on’s.
My most recent build hasn’t been shared on my socials yet but I will give you a sneak peek.
Finished builds;
Millers garden - my first kit. Only customization was the walls.
Sam’s Study. My next kit. I felt confident enough to go hard and really personalize it. I changed the whole look and designed all the book’s/ templates using canva. Every single book in this kit has been read by me. I wanted to look into this kit and see my life. I added in photos of my family, I customized the flowers and I even added my ‘grief one day at a time’ book on my side table. A book that got me through the hardest time in my life.
Next I moved on to Flowery Sweets and Tea. I had seen this one on display at a local hobby shop but no kits. My amazing Facebook fan group found me this kit and I was able to get my hands on it. Many hours coming designing my new tea shop. The colour pallet, the flowers (tried a new flower - daffodil in honour of my late sister), I added a back area and created a space that you would find here on the west coast. Hidden in forest surrounded by nature.
And finally a kit that Robotime sent me to document and share on my social media. They sent me Emily’s Flower Shop (surprised me), the new version. This was so much fun as I hadn’t done any of the newer kits yet and it was on my list. I will share a sneak peek. Tell me if you can guess my theme for this flower shop.
Well - that’s me.
I know I could create a great event for people looking to learn more about miniatures. It’s changed my life by giving me a hobby that allows me to turn off the noise of the outside world.
If you made it to the end!! THANK YOU ![]()
