I think I forgot to mention the mess ahahaha…
wish me luck!
It’s neater, right?
But it is easier said than done.. ahhahah. I couldnt help but criticise my own stitching (oh, the spacing is uneven and all)
Thanks for the encouragement! Slow and steady will do the trick.. ahahaha
I feel you. hahaha. But I’d rather sew than curse the glue for not sticking as much as I want it to be. ![]()
Thanks for the encouragement.. ahahha
At least you still have the talent. My sewing is really bad. I don’t have a talent for that. ![]()
Honestly - I would take this pillow over the plastic. This looks so much more real. When I get the plastic ones, I often paint them and then draw on something that is more meaningful for my scene.
I skip around in the directions all the time…because if I come to something I don’t feel like dealing with…I will move ahead and come back to that step. ![]()
you will feel a much bigger reward when finishing this kit instead of the snap together ones
Very Nice start. The pillow is looking lovely.
Your pillows turned out great!
That’s a great idea to put your own touch to the kit!
So do I! I need to find my momentum first on dealing with some difficult pieces.
Absolutely! I am even thinking of putting my initials on the pillow to make it really mine.
Thanks! A labor of love.. hehehehe
A bit rusty but did my best! An absolute labor of love.
I can so relate to this. There is always a piece of furniture you can build. (easy-peasy) I can’t just concentrate on a hundred flowers at once. Too tedious for me…LOL! Also, that’s a really cool idea for the initials on the pillow.
Hehe I love that. You did well. It is something that I will trying more this year.
Oh, I think we can make a great time as I love making flowers. I have made several older kit versions where you need to cut the leaves and the flowers yourself.
