Oooh that looks good, but indeed first impression it seems fragile. Good progress so far, can’t wait for your next update.
Thank you for the encouragement!
It is fragile but I’m just gonna be careful with it. Thanks for your kind words!
I can tell you did great so far. And you’re welcome ![]()
Zoe_Lau this first peek at your hot air balloon has me grinning because you can already see those early pieces lining up beautifully. I love that you dove in with one of the smaller kits to get a feel for it, it sounds like the perfect warm up. Keep those updates coming, I’m eager to watch this one float to the finish.
Thank you for the kind words! I appreciate your encouragement!
It’s looking cool and nice indeed!
I don’t dislike these smaller wooden kits at all, although they demand extra focus since those wooden parts tend to be more fragile than the ones I’m used to ![]()
It looks so very delicate. Did you have trouble with any of the pieces being fragile?
How beautiful!
It would look gorgeous painted.
Thank you! I’ll keep you posted.
Yeah, a few of the pieces were definitely fragile. I haven’t broken any yet but let’s just say it’s a good thing there are extra pieces because there were definitely some close calls.
The pieces were fragile but they held together pretty well once they were all connected.
I hope you’re luckier than me with the guns for the Sailing Ships ![]()
@Zoe_Lau it looks very fragile … but i look forward to your progress xx![]()

This was mine when I finished it. 👍 [Rolife DIY & Creativity] Hot air balloon complete! - #5 by Nita_Davis
It’s looking really good so far! Can’t wait to see it finished! I haven’t seen this kit yet
I hope so too! Wish me luck!
Thank you. I’ll be sure to keep you updated!
I think I might just leave it as it is. I like the plain wood look just fine.
