I finally finished my very first Rowood flower kits, the Sunflower and Camellias! Even though building these kits was super challenging, especially the Camellias, it was 100% worth it because they turned out absolutely beautiful.
Thanks to the helpful tips from this community, I sanded the pieces first and painted the edges of the petals, leaves, and stems. I even experimented by arranging them in a vase and a small pot to give them a more realistic touch!
What do you guys think? I’m honestly so happy with how everything turned out!
From unboxing to placing that final piece, it was such a fun, relaxing, and fulfilling experience. I love this new hobby.
As I shared in my Water Element post, I’m dedicating this first flower build to my Mom. She loved flowers so much, and I know she’d be right here crafting alongside me if she were still around.
Thank you so much, Robotime, for creating such wonderful products and bringing back that pure, childlike excitement through crafting. And I’m so grateful to God for connecting me with this amazing community.

@Josephine40 they turned out great!! As real as you can get with wood flowers anyways lol. But that doesn’t matter I like them and they would brighten up any room!!.
Your flowers turned out beautifully! I love the extra touches you added by sanding the pieces, painting the edges, and arranging them in a vase and pot. It makes them look even more lifelike. I also think it’s incredibly special that you dedicated your first flower build to your mom. What a beautiful way to honor her memory. Wishing you many more relaxing and meaningful builds ahead.
Thank you so much for the kind words @Nita_Davis I’m actually planning to build the Rolife Leisure Time Tea Room DIY miniature house next. It was a birthday gift from my daughter. I’m really excited to start on it, and I’d love to hear any helpful tips you might have
That is such a pretty little kit. Many have done it, but I am not one of them. My only advice is if you are having trouble getting parts to fit, lightly sand and wax the tabs. So well worth it to NOT break a piece. I’m sure you will love it and do a really nice job.
Thank you so much, @MamaNheza Your sweet words truly touched my heart. I really enjoyed taking my time with all the details, and I know my mom would have loved them too. Appreciate your support so much
