[DIY & Creativity] Asking AI for color advise

I want to start working on my treasure box.

This one:

When working on my London Marble Run, I discovered I like to bring some color with my acrylic markers. I’m not one to buy actual paint and paintbrushes, I might not want to use them often enough.

So I asked AI for some inspiration to give this one color. From subtle to actual full color.

I got the following examples:

I thought the first ones were not really colorful enough for my taste. The second ones I loved better already, and since I’m a huge fan of blue, I asked for a mix a dark and light blue tones for the last one.

But now I don’t know. Just keep it simple as in the second examples or go all out with the blue like the last one.

What do you think?

Haha with the first one I would’t have to add color at all. And the grey was too dark for me.

I really like both colorful options :face_holding_back_tears:

You can combine them if you cant decide lol

This one is quite tricky to choose the colour. I think if you like blue then just keep it simple but not the whole thing being blue.

Me personally, I prefer things more understated so I would probably prefer the first option. Ultimately it’s up to you and how much you want the box to stand out. The second option is certainly very unique!

Thank you! Since I really want to add some color to it, it will probably be the second one I will choose.

Or maybe someone can still convince me otherwise, who knows :woman_shrugging:

That last blue one looks so beautiful, I’m always drawn to blue too. But I feel like getting those tonal changes right can be quite tricky, I don’t think I could achieve such a nice result myself…

I’m sure it will look great whatever you choose, though! And I love that you’re using AI for inspiration, it’s such a fun way to explore ideas :smiling_face:

Yeah, I started to think that too. Maybe just keep it simple so it can be done, instead of wanting to much and failing :sweat_smile:

I’d toss up between the blue and the purple and gold. Nice choices.

AI is really great with giving inspirations. I really love the 2nd part, the one with subtle colors on top.
