This one is got some issues. Lots of cracking tabs. very tight fits for some things
Oh no, I hate when that happens! It’s so frustrating when the tabs start cracking because of tight fits ![]()
Not a ton, yet! Not liking the various cobblestones though. Nothing matches. I may brush over that but not sure. I did paint some over the orange. Will show that later tonight
Oh no! Sand and wax…that’s all you can do! You can brush over all of them at once and change the whole shade of them. They will still have variations in color. That’s what I did on Cathy’s flower house.
This one is on my soon to do list! I hope you have fun building! ![]()
that is what I started to do, sand and wax. many of the tabs appear slightly bigger that they should be!
I even keep a piece of 80 grit paper nearby for things that need a bit more sanding. It’s almost like having a tiny rasp…cuz it will shave some wood off.
I was about to do just that if necessary! the wax helped a lot!
YES! It always does! Happy to hear that that is working better for you.
I have been wanting to try this build for so long! There are so many details, I love it. Thank you for sharing and I hope your build goes great! ![]()
It has been a little rough. Doesnt snap together as well as some! I strongly recommend you have wax! and use it on most of the tabs. Sand then wax
Ohhh the withdrawals!
Glad the issue has been solved! I have this in my stash so I’ll try and follow your progress! ![]()
Enjoy! This kit seems like a nice kit to me ![]()
Oh, I absolutely understand the “I need to build something while I wait for this one to arrive” feeling
nice choice! I’m sure you’ll do it in no time.
You work on your kits too fast that you ran out of kits hehehe good thing you have stores that sell Rolife kits to keep you busy. Have fun @jeanneL
This is what happens when you get older. You have time and you try to fill it. And with cruddy weather you do not want togo out. So you stay in and do things -like this. I literally have the entire day. So it is not that I am fast, its that I have the time LOL
Taking me a bit longer than anticipated. Many of the pieces of wood are splintering on me.
I may decide to like it once I am done!
Oh no! Are you being able to properly fix it?
Fortunately I have. Thank goodness for Glue! B7000 to the rescue. Backup of superglue if needed!
