I love your creativity to resolve the issues like the air dry clay. I love how you did your overall tree even the leaves and placing the cherry blossoms.

I understand that you wouldn’t mind making the old tree. I like the wire work and painting it. I would have loved for the paddles to have been pre made. I was offered this kit as a mystery price a while back but choos the spaceshuttle. I’m now not so sure i made the right choice haha.

I could definitely see the space shuttle being more your speed. I think you tend to enjoy ships and vehicle models. All the pink flowers and dolls might have scared you off.
My first love is miniatures and I love rare miniatures so this kit is #1 in my book. A lot of Asian themes don’t make it to the west for whatever reason. But I just love the detail and elegant beauty of the eastern themes. It exciting to discover the them.

I actually like both. But i did start with vehicles and them discovered book nooks and then dyi houses. So i have a brought intrest. I indeed am not a nancy fan but i love eastern themed kits.

You’ve done such an amazing job with the tree, it looks absolutely beautiful and so delicate! I’m definitely taking notes for when I build mine one day… especially the “more flowers are better” tip!

Yes, I agree with you. It’s so beautiful even the box alone. Yes, I also love it though I think it will be challenging to build it based on the posts that I’m reading here about that kit.

This kit does present some challenges. It’s an older style so you will make most things from scratch. I was happy to take my time with it because it is so special.

I enjoy the newer style kits too. They are pretty relaxing. I just keep falling in love with challenges. lol. They are so beautiful and complicated.
