After 2 weeks of slowly melting away and no building at all. I thought it would be nice to back to my space shuttle.
As you may or may not know from my last post, I did not finish step 4 entirely because the mechanism appeared not to be working as it should.
So I was prepared to take it apart for some steps to see where the issue was situated. Luckily I was smart enough to do another test run before taking it apart…
Because apparently all it needed was a heatwave and some neglect for about 2 weeks and it just worked. So no need to go back on my steps and I could just continue to finish step 4.
Which I did and I also completed step 5 now.
It felt really good to build again and it surely helped that the temperature in my house dropped to a 27 degrees Celsius instead of 31,5…
I will continue with step 6 on Wednesday. For now I will end this day with this success and go to bed
Haha, I love this comeback post! Sometimes all a tricky mechanism needs is a little break (and apparently a heatwave ). I’m glad you got that momentum back.
@Minus_88 welcome back to the space shuttle build! I love that the mechanism decided to behave after a heatwave and a bit of neglect, and it was smart to test it again before taking anything apart. Step 4-5 is looking like a real comeback moment, and we’ll be cheering for the next test.
Thank you @Cozy.little.palette I’m looking forward to the rest as well. I really missed building, but really did not have the energy to do anything for the last 2 weeks
