My husband worked on the Monocular Telescope last weekend.
And I must say he really takes building so seriously. He wants to finish his builds on the same day. He completed this in just 4 hours.
We didn’t paint it but I think it still looks beautiful as it is. It’s such a cool build and it even works, it’s real sight distance is 150m (500ft). I think this would be a perfect gift for upcoming Father’s Day
