As planned I finished my telescope today. I just had to do some finishing touches on the magnifying glass first and when that was done, the tripod.
I have had a few minor cracks in some pieces, but luckily I got spare parts for those.
It is not my favorite kit, but nonetheless it was nice to build it. It was a quick and not too difficult build in between ‘bigger’ projects.
And of course it’s quite the eyecatcher in my home now

Yes it does work. And it’s definitely magnifying. I don’t know if it’s actually 150 meters that you can see.
And as it is mainly for decorative purposes , I think you get the best that is to be expected
It turned out beautiful! I also found this structure less fun to make because it is much of the same, but the end result is amazing.

Minus_88, that telescope turned out beautifully! Finishing the magnifying glass and tripod sounds like the perfect last push, and it is great that the spare parts saved those little cracks. Even if it is not your favorite kit, it clearly earned a proud spot at home, and I can absolutely see why!
It’s not one of my favorite kits either, but it looks nice once built.

. But I’m glad I could finish it without any major breaks
