I gave my husband the Rowood Starry Night as a gift last Christmas and he worked on it last night.
He finished it in just 6 hours! He broke the glowing circle of the moon but good thing there’s super glue.
It’s now displayed in our living room. I think he’s proud of what he has built.

I’d be proud of it as well. This is another that I really want to add to my Wishlist.
Your husband did a fantastic job.

It was quite straightforward. Just need to be careful taking the pieces out of the board because it’s quite fragile.
And instructions didn’t mention waxing the gears but I think it still should have been waxed especially on the tree for it to spin smoother

@Jill_Francisco will keep that in mind for when i start it, still have some wax from the lighthouses i did

It’s nice that you influence your husband already to build a kit. I hope my partner will too someday. Your husband did a great job. I really love the Starry Night.

I also do not see what is broken. He covered it well! And nicely done. Please say congratulations to your husband.
P.S. I really adore the mini portrait that comes along

This is very pretty. I see a lot of houses and a chapel to build as well as the trees. It does not look as complicated. Am I wrong? Is it just that things are fragile? I like to be prepared going in!
Thanks!!
