The pieces splinter so easily; this last one, for example, just as I was fitting it together, the wood popped off! I didn’t use any force; it fit perfectly, and then suddenly, plop, I saw the piece like this.
Thank goodness that piece is covered and can’t be seen hahaha
But it doesn’t end there! I’ve even managed to chip the very last piece, which is the top part, haha! I’m so unlucky with this kit, and I really love it! It’s Japanese and it’s a Japanese pagoda, but I don’t think it’s well designed. I’ll talk about that in my next post.
In addition, my fingers ended up red after every assembly from using the sandpaper so much; I had to keep moisturizing the fingers I was sanding with because my skin was peeling just from touching so much sandpaper.
(That’s why I posted a few days ago with advice on this sandpaper issue)
I’ll upload the final post soon!
Thank you for joining me until the end of this kit.
@Sasa this pagoda really has given you a dramatic final stretch, from splintering pieces to all that sanding. The way you kept going and still found humor in it says a lot. We will be waiting for the final reveal.
