So sorry @Sasa I know it can be super frustrating when these things derail you. Just keep moving. Take each step as a lesson. You got this. Teach that kit who’s boss and kick it’s proverbial heinie
Yes i know i had the same problem the pieces are very fragile. I found the best glue so far for me is loctite. Hope you have better luck with the rest of the build
Since I did not have any glue on t home either, I just searched online for B7000 glue and ordered it. I could have it delivered by a webshop in Belgium/The Netherlands within 2 days. You might just be able to get it in Spain as well.
Awww that’s yoo bad about the broken piece. Hope you can find a better solution to fix it. Personally, I’d use wood glue then forget about it so that the glue has time to dry completely. I’m usually very impatient so I need to “forget” that I’m waiting for something to dry haha.
I’m also a but worried about this lind of problem that’s why I haven’t started on my Pagoda yet. Btw, are you planning on painting it? The paint can hide the broken parts better, I think.
I’ve already broken a lot of them; this kit is a bit of a disaster for me.
I didn’t expect to break so many, and I thought, well, the one I have at home will do… but it didn’t.
Let’s see how it goes when you start.
No, I didn’t paint it. I wanted it like this because, being a perfectionist, I’d get OCD if I saw any mistakes, haha.
Yes, I should switch to a quick-drying one. But I’m afraid of getting it stuck to my fingers or falling on a surface, haha, it’s happened to me before.
Hi @Sasa, your pagoda update made us smile, even with that fragile corner piece causing trouble. Taking it slowly and switching between kits sounds like the right way to protect all those delicate details. We are cheering for this careful comeback!
