The last part of the typewriter went quite quickly, and it is finally finished. I really like that this typewriter actually works. Even though it doesn’t work perfectly (you really have to press hard on the keys to get any ink on the paper), it is a beautiful new decorative piece.
This kit is a bit more expensive than the average kits, but I think it is more than worth it. It incorporates many different materials.
The only downside I found with this kit was that with the pressed wood blades, a layer would quickly come loose when I wanted to push a piece out. It is important to cut through all the small points that hold the piece to the blade first to prevent this. I haven’t had this problem as much with other kits as I have with this one.

Luckily, I already have a lot of experience with building and I know that I have to cut out the pieces It seemed like these sheets were not glued firmly, because I have never experienced them coming loose so quickly before.
It looks so awesome! I am really eyeing this one!
I can imagine my kids would be amazed when they see this one in action!
