Eternal Atlantic Voyager - Day 2

I had a wonderful evening of crafting and building. I was too tired to go to the weekly crochet gathering, so I got into my pajamas and worked a little on the Titanic.

I completed steps 2-9 (total is 15 steps) so I did quite a lot.

I have built the complete interior. Started on some decks and already added some side boards. I have kept in mind that this pieces on the deck could be very fragile. So I did sand, not too much, but just sufficient to get it all clicked together. Until now I only broke 1 spare piece, so I’m good.

Here are a few photos I made:

For now I will stop building for today. Perhaps I will read a little and go to sleep. I still have a busy morning and in the afternoon it’s time for my first meetup. I have sent a mail to all participants to remind them about tomorrow. Some will come a little early to help me set up the crafting tables.

Recap will follow tomorrow or Sunday, depending on my energy level afterwards.

Have a nice weekend!

Thank you @Nita_Davis I’m glad it is going well so far. I was a little nervous about the small deck pieces as I read in posts that they were fragile. I can’t wait to build further, but I might start another kit today. It’s a complete DIY and I want to keep this one to switch back from time to time.

It’s hot here in Belgium as well. Today is all about my meetup. But tomorrow and Monday I will try to enjoy the sun for a bit, read a little in my garden and to finally clean my windows so it will be a joy again to look outside

Thank you @Anje_Leonoza_Mira. I could indeed do a lot last night and that felt good since it was only the second time in an entire week that I found the time to build anything.

Thank you @Jill_Francisco. I already saw this one in several posts, and I already loved it. But making is myself now is very satisfying

Thank you @Cozy.little.palette I hope so too. And if not all goes perfect now, than I just have to keep in mind that it is the first time and I can improve the next time . Luckily I know all my participants personally for this one.
